365,000 people registered for Naya Pak Housing Scheme Project: Nadra

LAHORE: According to National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), nearly 365,000 people have registered for the Naya Pak Housing Program (NPHP)



According to reports, registration for Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) is open since 15 July, 2019 and is open till next 3 months.
Today it is disclosed that nearly 365,000 people has been registered in just one month and a half through Nadra’s online registration process.
The spokesperson said, “Nearly 7,500 NADRA e-facility centres are providing information to people about the project. Besides, three special camps have been set up across Lahore at Chuhng, Raiwind,  and Ferozepur Road for awareness and registration of citizens for the programme”


Government has facilitated the citizens for registration by launching nphp.nadra.gov.pk website. Citizens can use the website to apply online for the program following the fee payment process.

Last month, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government launched the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme for citizens who can not afford to buy a house for themselves.


On 28 March 2019, Pakistan and the World Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the Pakistan housing sector during an international housing conference.

The agenda of this Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) is to provide five million houses to the Pakistani low-income population. It will also directly benefit  the economy as forty different industries related to the construction business will work, as per Prime Minister Imran Khan.
