KARACHI: The gold price is continuously decreasing in the Pakistan market in line with the recent trade. The Gold price in Pakistan on Friday (August 7) was at a record high of 132,000 PKR. After that from Monday Gold starts to lose its value. According to record, on Monday (August 10) Gold price decreased by 3,000 PKR and on Tuesday (August 11) Gold price fell down again by 2,900 PKR. 

Now as of the latest report, in line with trade on Wednesday (August 12) the Gold price yet again has fallen deep by 6,100 PKR and was traded at the price of 120,000 PKR compared to previous day rate of 126,100 PKR. 

This drop of value for the Gold is due to decline in the international market where gold prices fell by $55 and were traded at $1,933 after breaching $2,000 levels and attaining a record high of $2,075.

The price of the Gold has witnessed intense sell-off pressure since August 7, 2020, resulting in the biggest drop in gold prices since 2014.
